The Elbe Cycle Route 2 cycling map presents the second part of the total 860 km long Elbe cycle path in the Leporello style. The route between Dessau and Wittenberge, 250 km long, is presented downstream in 21 sections. The route passes interesting cities like Dessau, Magdeburg, Tangermünde and Wittenberge, but also technically remarkable sights such as the Magdeburg waterway intersection, sluices, ship lifts, numerous bridges and yaw rope ferries. In addition, there is the unique flora and fauna that is protected in the Central Elbe Biosphere Reserve.
