Stikart Oslo: Østmarka is one of four unique maps on a scale of 1:20,000 that cover Oslomarka, published by Calazo Forlag after input from central hiking and outdoor recreation players in the region. Popular hiking areas such as Østmarka have a dense network of trails that have not previously been correctly reflected in any databases. These paths are used extensively by hikers, runners and trail cyclists who want an outdoor lifestyle close to the city. We at Calazo want to develop better and more detailed maps and have put a lot of work into identifying and including all trails in the area. The Østmarka enthusiasts have contributed with detailed local knowledge and DNT Oslo and Omegn have contributed information about cabins and blue-marked footpaths. The terrain information is based on laser scanning from aircraft, which ensures high accuracy in the details. The map is designed for summer use.
