Our new high-alpine special map on a scale of 1: 25,000 is not only a real treat for those interested in history: With the integration of the current, today's glacier statuses in the historical map sheet of the Alpine Club map of the Zillertal Alps West in the 1930 edition, as well as further information on the climate in the Alps a unique contemporary document was created that impressively illustrates the consequences of the changing climate.
The map shows the area from the Gamshütte and Hintertux in the north to the Hochfeilerhütte in the south. From the Geraer Hütte in the west to the Berliner Hütte and the mountaineering village of Ginzling in the east. With Olperer, Hochfeiler, Furtschaglhaus, Pfitscherjoch, upper Pfitscher Tal and the Nöfesjochhütte.
